Background Check Time For Volunteers
If you are someone who believes that you should not be having a background check done on you because you are just a volunteer, then you better change that thought. In Peterborough, New Hampshire, the ConVal School District has already started with doing background checks on volunteers. In fact, the district is already coordinating with the police so as to be able to successfully do this.
This is a really important thing to do because volunteers would actually be spending much time with the students. Now you would not want to have somebody with a shady past working with your kids, right? And so anyone who wants to be working with ConVal should have to undergo a background check and it does not matter if you are employed, would be working part-time, or is a volunteer.
